About The Kever Rachel Heritage Fund
The Kever Rachel Heritage Fund was established in 1995 by Rebbetzin Miriam Adani with the blessings of Rabbi Shalom Yosef Elyashiv, of blessed memory. The goal of this foundation is protecting, maintaining, and encouraging all Jewish people to visit Rachel’s Tomb to ensure a constant Jewish presence at this biblical site.
During the start of the Second Intifada in the year 2000 or 5760, Jewish people were denied access to Pray at Rachel’s Tomb for over 41 days. Miriam Adani spear headed an effort to restore travel to Rachel’s Tomb and was successful in opening the doors of Kever Rachel. Since this moment, Jews from all over the world gravitate to this holy site that is maintained and preserved by The Kever Rachel Heritage Fund and it’s patrons.
Miriam continues to work with all the relevant government and army officials to maintain free buses to increase the Jewish presence at Rachel's Tomb. We would also like to specifically mention and thank the incredible men and women of the Israeli Defense Forces that provide safety for the people at this site and the site itself.
The foundation has been recognized for their work in preserving Rachel’s Tomb and her memory with Kiruv and Outreach to Soldiers, Events, Torah Learning and Prayers, Kollel, Meals, Bat Mitzvah Celebrations, and Tours.
Consider becoming a supporter of our foundation and ensure a constant Jewish presence at this holy site. A mother would never abandon her child and we aren’t going to abandon our mother.
